  I'm Not A Mind Reader: Communication and Feedback™  
 

Poor communication consistently makes the "top ten" list of organizational problems. Yet if organizations are to flourish, honesty, open communication, trust and respect for individual differences must be the cornerstones of the organizational culture.

 
     
 

After attending the Communication and Feedback workshop, participants will understand the characteristics of healthy workplace communication. They will learn to use four core skills for productive workplace communication:

 
 
  1. Supporting others' self-esteem
2. Listening openly and communicating understanding
3. Asking for others' ideas and involvement
4. Taking responsibility for having a productive discussion
 
     
 

Participants will learn to adapt their communication styles to the needs of others and recognize the importance of their non-verbal communication. They will also learn and practice the necessary skills for effectively giving and receiving feedback.
