The Personal Profile System,
or DiSC as it is more commonly known, is an instrument
that has been widely used in the business world.
Unlike the Myers-Briggs, the DiSC profile is based
on surface traits, or readily observable behaviors,
that can be easily recognized in others. This
instrument is useful in helping people understand
individual behavior, both their own and that of
others. It is valuable in helping people understand
how to adjust their behavior to work more effectively
with others, or better adapt to a given situation.
