Poor hiring decisions, high employee
turnover and EEOC claims cost American organizations
billions of dollars each year. Many managers lack
the knowledge and skill to select the most qualified
candidates for open positions. After participating
in this workshop, managers will be able to analyze
jobs to determine the skills and personal attributes
required, screen job applications and resumes,
ask "legally" appropriate interview
questions and develop behavior-based interview
questions. They will then learn and apply a 6-step
process for conducting behavior-based interviews
that will allow them to discover a candidate's
strengths and qualifications for the job. Finally,
they'll learn how to evaluate each candidate after
the interview in order to be able to make the
best selections.
